Meet Our Coaching Team
Coach Jalan Hough
Our Head Coach and Founder, Jalan Hough has always had a deep passion for football. Having spent 18 years playing at various levels and 5 years in the coaching space, he has obtained his C diploma, Foundation Of Football and Mini Roos qualifications. He also coaches for Empoli International Scouting and Football Academy where he was named head coach of their First kicks and beginners program.
Jalan has also travelled to Italy twice with Empoli on scouting trips, taking young talented players from all over Australia to not only expose them to European football but also to train with elite clubs such as Orange Futbol club, ISM Perugia and Empoli FC. He has also travelled to England where he was invited to attend Watford's Youth Academy training and enter their first team facilities.
Jalan has held multiple coaching roles with the Hills Association. He started by coaching preschool football programs in the Hills District before moving to their academy, leading the A's group for under 11s, 12s, and 13s. He then became an assistant coach for the under-16s AYL team, followed by the under-18s. Later, he was promoted to head coach of the under 15s and now leads the under 16s team.
Jalan is committed to helping grow future stars in Australian football, dedicating himself to nurturing young talent and providing them with the guidance, opportunities, and resources they need to reach their full potential both on and off the pitch.
